THE CYAN MAGENTA YELLOW KEY COLOR MODEL

The CMYK color model is used in the printing process. To understand it, it is best to start with RGB color. The RGB color model (made up of red, green and blue) is used in your computer monitor, and is what you will view your projects in while still on screen. These colors, however, can only be viewed with natural or produced light, such as in the computer monitor, and not on a printed page. This is where CMYK comes in.

CMYK in Graphic Design
Graphic designers have to deal with the issue of seeing their work on screen in RGB, although their final printed piece will be in CMYK. Digital files should be converted to CMYK before sending to printers, unless otherwise specified. Because of this issue, it is important to use “swatches” when designing if exact color matching is important. Swatches provide a designer and client with a printed example of what a color will look like on paper. A selected swatch color can then be chosen in Photoshop (or a similar program) to insure the desired results. Even though the on-screen color won’t exactly match the swatch, you know what your final color will look like. You can also get a “proof” from a printer, which is an example of your printed piece provided before the entire job is run.

This ares some basic grammar terms to help you get the whole thing
Adjective : In grammar, an adjective is a word whose main syntactic role is to qualify a noun or noun phrase, giving more information about the object signified.
Adverb: An adverb is a part of speech. Adverbs can modify verbs, adjectives (including numbers), clauses, sentences and other adverbs.
Conjunction: A conjunction is a joiner, a word that connects (conjoins) parts of a sentence.
Interjections: Interjections demonstrate emotion and are usually separated from the rest of the sentence by an exclamation point, and sometimes by a comma if the emotion is less stressed.
Noun: A noun is the name of a person, place, thing, or idea. Whatever exists, we assume, can be named, and that name is a noun.
Preposition: A preposition usually indicates the temporal, spatial or logical relationship of its object to the rest of the sentence as in the following examples:
Pronoun: A pronoun can replace a noun or another pronoun. You use pronouns like "he," "which," "none," and "you" to make your sentences less cumbersome and less repetitive.
Verb: The verb is perhaps the most important part of the sentence. A verb or compound verb asserts something about the subject of the sentence and express actions, events, or states of being.

1) The (definite article) CMYK color model (nouns) is (verb) used (adjective) in (preposition) the printing (adjective) process (noun).

2) RGB (noun) is (verb) what (pronoun) you(pronoun) will view(verb) your (pronoun) projects (noun) in (preposition) while still on(preposition) screen(noun)

3) This (pronoun) is (verb) where (conjunction) CMYK (noun) comes (verb) in (preposition).

1) Graphic designers (noun) have (verb) to (preposition) deal(verb) with(preposition) the (definite article) issue(noun) of (preposition) seeing(conjunction) their (possessive adj.) work (noun) on(preposition) screen in(preposition) RGB(noun)

2) files(noun) should (auxiliary verb) be (verb) converted (verb) to(preposition) CMYK(noun) before(preposition) sending(verb) to(preposition) printers(noun)

3) it is(verb) important(adjective) to(preposition) use(verb) “swatches” (noun)

ahoy mates, meet Cassandra!

I will briefly introduce you to my friend Cassandra, aka. Cuky.
Cassandra is from Maracaibo, Venezuela. She studies Mass communications at URBE. She's 21 years old.

She loves cooking like me, we always hang out and prepare food. She loves making short films, she owns two cats: Rory, and Dutchess.
What she likes the most is spending time with her family and traveling, she has two older sisters, Catherine, who is a ballet dancer in Barcelona, Spain and Clarissa, who works as a lawyer in Caracas. She is very fond of photography also. She likes giving parties at her house and receiving guests.

As Cassandra's mother is a well known politician in Maracaibo, she has seen politics from up close and she  says she wouldn't like to follow her mother steps. When she graduates, she would like to travel the world and maybe get a master degree in Spain so she's able to spend time with her older sister at the same time.

Meet Krysten

Meet my friend Krysten Muldoon. She is from a small town in Massachusetts called Sudbury. She recently graduated from Marketing in Boston University. She is 21 years old and she lives in Boston.
Krysten loves singing, going to church, and dancing among others. She also enjoys Thai food. She likes taking strolls around campus while drinking coffee.
She dislikes judgmental people, raisins, and diet coke.
As English is her native language I did not ask her what she thought about it. But she did tell me that she thinks Spanish is very interesting and she took a couple of Spanish classes while in college. She would like to speak it fluently but for the moment she only knows the basics.
As they say in Boston, she is wicked cool!

About me

Hello. My name is Andrea Suarez and I am 20 years old. I was born in Maracaibo. I am a junior in URBE, and I am majoring in graphic design.

I own a year old maltese-terrier dog and I love it.

I really like graphic design but what I love doing the most is cooking, I love mixing up ingredients and discovering new flavors. Another thing I love is traveling, I am very curious about different cultures and ways of thinking. I ''embrace diversity'', and as a food lover I enjoy eating tipical foods in every place I visit.

I was raised in a roman catholic family and I consider myself a strong catholic. I believe in going to church, abstinence, and I am not agree with abortion.

I lived in Boston for five months after I graduated from highschool and I loved everyday of it. I learned English in Boston University, I got the highest TOEFL score of my class. I am an absolute Red Sox fan. One of my dreams is to get a master in Graphic design from Boston University after I graduate from college. I also speak basic french.

I hate loud people and I really dislike people who tries to get everyones attention by humilliating others.
